THE TEAR TROUGH COURSE IS AIMED AT PRACTITIONERS WHO HAVE ALREADY TRAINED IN DERMAL FILLERS, INCLUDING CHEEK ENHANCEMENT, BUT WHO WISH TO LEARN THIS ADVANCED TECHNIQUE FOR USING DERMAL FILLER TO TREAT THE UNDER EYE AREA.

PRACTITIONERS MAY BE REQUIRED TO BRING THEIR OWN MODELS TO THIS TRAINING SESSION.

What does the tear trough training course involve?

This is a full day course which begins with a theory session covering;

  • Anatomy of the orbital area
  • Ageing of the orbital area
  • Indications for treatment
  • Diagnosis
  • Injection technique

Hands on practice is vitally important, which is why we arrange for models to join the session once the theory portion has been completed. Our trainer will first carry out a demonstration of the treatment, before each delegate is given the opportunity to treat a model themselves, under the supervision and guidance of our trainer.

Models

We ask you to bring your own model. When choosing a model these are the correct indications:

  • Eye circles
  • Tear Trough deformity
  • Palpebromalar groove
  • Minimal palebral bags

The incorrect indications for tear trough are:

  • Exclusively pigmentary dark circles
  • Large palpebral or malar bags
  • Lymphatic stasis
  • Excessive ligamentary looseness inferior eyelid (ectropion, scleral show...)

Following the course, what support will I receive?

We are always happy to provide support and advice to our delegates and can be contacted via phone or email. We can also put you in touch with product suppliers and insurance companies if needed.
