Sunekos is a hyaluronic acid and amino acid injectable treatment. It is an excellent addition to your menu of treatments and compliments Botox and dermal filler treatments beautifully, as well as being suitable for use as a stand alone treatment.
At Facethetics Training, we offer two days of Sunekos training; Sunekos Professional (Day 1) and Advanced Sunekos (Day 2). These two days can be attended consecutively, or if you would prefer to focus on mastering the injection techniques taught on Day 1, you can choose to attend Day 2 at a later date.
If you are unsure on what is the best option for you, our team is more than happy to chat to you about the course and your own experience in order to help you to make a decision.
It would be an advantage if you are already using an aesthetic cannula for your dermal filler treatments. If not, then we will show you needle technique.
What is Sunekos?
Sunekos is a new injectable treatment containing a patented formula of amino acids and hyaluronic acid. It regenerates the Extra Cellular Matrix (ECM) by stimulating the fibroblasts in the skin to produce a complete mix of collagen and elastin.
Sunekos is an ideal option for patients who wish to improve their skin quality while maintaining a more natural look or for those wishing to have treatment in conjunction with Botox and Filler for a more overall rejuvenated look, treating holistically.
There are two formulations of the product available; Sunekos 200 (hyaluronic acid low molecular weight) and Sunekos 1200 (hyaluronic acid medium molecular weight).
Where can be treated with Sunekos?
Sunekos is an extremely versatile product and can be used all over the face and body. It can treat a number of indications, including; loss of tone, skin ageing and premature skin ageing, skin dryness, solar elastosis, acne scarring, sun damage, dark circles under the eyes and fine lines and wrinkles.
Sagging skin and severe wrinkles can be treated using a combination of both Sunekos 200 and Sunekos 1200 for a "cushion" technique.
Peel and Oral Nutrition
In addition to the injectable treatments, Sunekos also produces a range of skin peels, oral nutrition drinks and skincare.
Sunekos Tropeel is a skin peeling solution containing glycolic acid, NAC and carnitine, designed to restore and restructure the skin. It can be used immediately after Sunekos injections and is effective in treating melasma, acne and ageing
Nutrakos is a drinkable food supplement containing amino acids. It comes from the same patented formula as Sunekos and stimulate elastin and collagen production to improve the overall appearance and texture of the skin.
Both Sunekos Tropeel and Nutrakos are covered on the Sunekos course.
What does the Facethetics Sunekos training course involve?
Please note: It is beneficial to have trained in foundation dermal filler prior to training in Sunekos, but it is not essential.
On the Sunekos Professional course, you will learn full facial rejuvenation including:
The injectable administration of Sunekos 200 and Sunekos 1200
Restoring facial volume
Nutrakos (oral nutrition)
All Facethetics Training courses include e-learning which is sent out before the course and must be completed in full before the day of the training course.
On the training day itself, we start with a theory session, where we will discuss the pre-course reading in depth and answer any questions that the delegates may have about the treatment.
Upon completion of the theory session, our Educator will demonstrate a Sunekos treatment on a model. Following this demonstration, delegates will each get the opportunity to carry out a Sunekos procedure on a model and to observe their fellow delegates. All delegates are closely guided and supervised by our Educator during the practical portion of the day.
As mentioned above, we also offer an Advanced Sunekos session. You can choose to attend this immediately after you’ve completed Day 1, or you can come back to us at a later date if preferred.
